These Terms and Conditions govern your use of SelfTow, an on-demand roadside assistance and towing service owned and operated by EDZ Solutions (d/b/a SelfTow) ("Company," "we," "us"). By using SelfTow at selftow.com or via any related service, you agree to these terms.
SelfTow is a technology platform that connects customers in need of roadside assistance or towing with independent licensed towing operators ("Partners" or "Drivers"). SelfTow facilitates the booking and payment for these services but does not itself perform towing services.
When you request a tow, nearby Partners are sent your request and reply with their price and arrival time. You choose which Partner to book. Each Partner sets its own rates; the price you see for a Partner already includes SelfTow's service fee.
By entering your phone number and requesting quotes on selftow.com, you consent to receive these service messages from SelfTow about that request, including your verification code, your quote link, and booking and status updates. We do not send marketing SMS messages.
All prices are in US dollars. Before you request quotes, we show how many Partners near you can take your request. You see each Partner's price when that Partner replies. Each Partner's price is calculated from that Partner's own rates, or set by the Partner when it replies, and depends on:
Prices are all-in: the price you choose includes SelfTow's service fee, and Partners may not charge you extra at the scene.
Quotes and payment. Live quotes stay open for 15 minutes. You are not charged anything unless you choose a Partner. When you choose a Partner, a hold for that Partner's exact price is placed on your payment method through Stripe, and you authorize SelfTow to charge that amount once your service is complete. If the service is not completed, the hold is released, except as described in Section 4.
Requesting quotes is free, and nothing is charged if you don't choose a Partner. Once you choose a Partner, your booking is confirmed and the Partner is sent to you.
If you cancel after choosing a Partner, contact us right away at (760) 388-2591. If the Partner has already started driving to you or has arrived, a cancellation fee of up to the full quoted price may be charged, based on the Partner's travel and time. If you cancel before the Partner has started driving, the hold is released.
SelfTow reserves the right to issue full or partial refunds at its discretion in cases of service failure or Partner no-show.
You are responsible for providing accurate information, including your location, destination, and vehicle year, make, model, and condition, and for heavy duty vehicles and semis, the estimated weight, length, width, and any trailer and load. Prices are based on the information you provide. If the vehicle is a heavier tow class than booked, or the location, destination, or vehicle condition differs from what you entered, the price may be adjusted to the Partner's price for the actual service, or the Partner may decline the job. We will contact you before any adjusted amount is charged. SelfTow is not liable for delays or failures caused by inaccurate customer-provided information.
Driveline removal. To tow a heavy duty vehicle or semi safely, the Partner may need to disconnect or remove the driveline (driveshaft). Neither the Partner nor SelfTow is responsible for re-installing it after the tow; arranging and paying for re-installation is your responsibility.
By requesting service, you confirm that you are the vehicle's registered owner, or that you are authorized by the owner or otherwise legally entitled to have the vehicle towed, transported, or serviced. A Partner may ask to see identification, registration, or other proof of authority before providing service, and may decline the job if it cannot be confirmed; in that case, Section 4 applies to any cancellation fee. You are responsible for any costs, claims, or damages that result from a request you were not authorized to make.
SelfTow is only for towing and roadside services requested by the vehicle's owner or an authorized person. It may not be used for non-consent towing, including private-property or parking-enforcement tows, impounds, repossessions, or tows requested by law enforcement. SelfTow may cancel any request that appears to be for one of these purposes.
SelfTow operates where licensed Partners are available. We do not guarantee service availability in all areas or at all times. If no Partner is available or replies to your request, you will not be charged, and if a booked Partner cannot complete your service, the hold is released or a full refund is issued.
All SelfTow Partners and their drivers are independent contractors, not employees of SelfTow or EDZ Solutions. Partners are required to hold the licenses and operating authority required to tow in their area, maintain at least $1 million in commercial auto liability insurance along with coverage for vehicles in their care, and comply with all applicable state and federal regulations.
SelfTow's liability for any claim arising from a service is limited to the amount paid for that service. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. SelfTow is not responsible for vehicle damage caused by pre-existing conditions or circumstances beyond the driver's control.
In the event of vehicle damage during towing, claims must be filed within 24 hours of service completion by contacting info@selftow.com.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Socorro County, New Mexico.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of SelfTow after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
